analord has alot to do with electro actually. it's very influenced by the early detroit sound, and then chicago acid house ofcourse. 'crying in your face' for example is a good sex between electro and acid...and ambient for that matter.

this one is a bit similar to the analord sound i reckon. Legowelt and Orgue Electronique project:

I want to make love.

To a mannequin. *BLING BLANG*

I want to fuck it.

I want to suck it. *BLING BLANG*

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

have to agree with impakt on this one, but since everybody has posted actual electro i'll instead recommend one of the best Analord inspired albums that i've heard ( no it's not last step ),

made using custom modular synthesis and custom built analog drum machine

Not Breathing - Laquarto & Perky

all tracks can be previewed here - http://www.emusic.com/album/Not-Breathing-Laquarto-Perky-MP3-Download/11289744.html

the song 'How the West Was Won' is particularly awesome
