Finally it's here: Aardvarck delivers his second full length album for Eat Concrete, titled 'Choice'. It offers 22 tracks and is a definite classic. After the previously released vinyl sampler we received massive support, including Radiohead's Thom Yorke putting it on his favourites list. Although the vinyl has quickly run out of stock we have a limited run of cd's available, but be quick!

"Into his 25th year as a DJ, Aardvarck comes with his second full length album for Eat Concrete Records. With 'Choice', Aardvarck has created one of his finest selections to date. It offers as much as 22 tracks, going in all directions Aardvarck has become known for such as bass-heavy dub, lush soundscapes, broken beats and soul vocals.

The album is introduced by the Gaslamp Killer, kicks of with the beautiful 'Lucky Shot' featuring female vocals by Alexandra and continues with some cinematic and hypnotising ambient-like pieces before the bass kicks in with 'Breaking Bad'. From then onward we are treated with songs reminiscent of some of the recent 'Bloom' releases, displaying a taste for heavy bass, beats and dub samples. Yet 'Choice' has more to offer than dj-food alone; the album flows like a mix and keeps a light and fresh vibe along the way with lots of sketches and interludes. Aardvarck also offers some definite classics with 'Heal' and 'Find the Cow..Almost', featuring guest vocals on both tracks. Timeless. "

Had heard of Aardvarck before, but had no idea it was so chilled and spread out, expected some annoying clutterfuck dubstep.

Aardvarck has been going strong for almost 2 decades and released some really interesting detroit, broken beat, acid, dubstep and ambient on a range of labels like delsin, djax-up, rush hour, planet e, !k7, eat concrete and more

besides that he's a really dope dj
