The Football League show

Downloaded and watched the latest program. Lovely stuff :) I knew there was quality in the lower divs, as evidenced by performances of some clubs in the FA cup. Was surprised at the overall consistency of the quality though. Does make me wish that we had that kind of quality here.

watching Southampton get destroyed by rochdale was something i watched twice on the TFLS this morning.

every week there is a 'potted history' which is rather good. though a lot of the time it's the team playing afcb..which is strange.

Fucking hell - Aldershot-Northampton - 5 minutes of stoppage time? And people complain when Man U gets 4.

After a dodgy start it's really settled down and it's turned from "fastforward to the Southend goals" to "watch the whole thing". The match features are great and the pundits are generally good and knowledgeable. Glad we got some recognition for stuffing Torquay (3 wins out of 3 with one goal conceded before Saturday). Both our goals were worldies. 3 wins in 8 days for us, and all of a sudden things are looking good after a horrendous preseason

Is this the same league the 37 year old Edgard Davids has returned in? How does he hold up? :)

Yeah he's in the championship (2nd Tier behind PL) with Crystal Palace. He's playing at Left back for them, not heard how he's doing though think its a bit early to tell. He'll have a massive impact on the dressing room there though as its a young team. They almost went bankrupt a few weeks back but I think they've sorted it for the immediate future.

Didn't go to the Bournemouth game in the end as I'm skint but bit disappointed we (Huddersfield) didn't win at home given our impressive home record last year. Guess Bournemouth aren't going to struggle so much in League 1 this year.

yeah the goal you scored at 45+1 was the fact were a team of hobbits and your a team of bean poles. but im happy with the results. still unbeaten in 4 games. so im happy. got Dagenham and redbridge on the weekend which will be nice 3 points at home. :emotawesomepm9:

if we keep marvin bartley

(one of our best players) and eddie howe i reckon we'll be in the play offs or just miss them. championship football sound good for next year. but we (bournemouth) have a run of hard games coming up

after DAG + RED -

Oldham a

carlisle h

exeter h

south coast team a

brighton a

mk dons h

soits not going to be easy but i see maybe 10 points out of the possible 18 which isnt too bad.

based on exactly one week of watching clips (lol - I could probably write the football column for the Sun/Mail with that vast experience) Carlisle, Oldham and MK Dons will be tough, and don't underestimate Brighton. You should be able to nick wins from MK Dons and Oldham though - if you play with some pace attacking. Exeter and Southampton South coast team (lol) will be relatively easy matches...but you lot also play Sheffield Wednesday after MK Dons, followed by Colchester.

Exciting stuff! I love it.

The Brighton game is live on sky sports with a 12pm kick off. we've never won on tv in the last 4/5 times. last time we was on telly we drew with Notts county 2-2 (i think) although all i remember was Hugues stamping on Ryan Garry's face and Jeff Goulding scoring in the last minute. but they arnt very good so thats at least a point in the bag.

Oldham probably be a draw or a win, wont lose though considering dean court is are top trump this season (or so i would like to think it is)

MK Dons are Dodgy, we lost twice last time we was in league 1, but then again its at home and by then we should a few players back from injury (fletcher, lovell)
