There is actually science behind the way it works.

That's not science; that's all speculative.

I heard if you slowed it down 800% it works even better.

anyone remember computer narcotics? it was a dos program back in teh day (mid 90s) where you selected a "drug" put on headphones and it played weird tones and noises on repeat while doing some low-end fractals and trippy looking VGA shit and like, you were supposed to feel like you were high on drug X after 5-10 minutes.

suffice to say, that's how i scored my first coke habit when i was 13.

World's first? What happened to that iDoser thing?

I tried it once, chose the alcohol effect, listened for some time and stood up and I was dizzy as fuck. But I didn't get any nausea, my breath didn't smell like beer, I didn't hit on random girls nor did I piss in the corner of my room.

Weak alcohol effect if you ask me.

I used SBaGen with the out-of-body doser.... it worked for me. It helps if you have some really good headphones and an isolated environment. I haven't tried any of the drug themed doses though.

People realised it was bollocks and moved on. As they will with this too....

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

all these people calling this BS did yall even try it? If you haven't then STFU.

Yes and this kind of hocus pocus crap has been going around for at least a decade, it just gets rebranded as different things. Hell I remember even Cool Edit '96 had this stuff.

Theres a science to homeopathy too. I believe they call it the placebo effect.

This is such a troon thread.

Whether this works or not, I heard Lustmord is using frequencies in some of his music that are supposed to evoke fear. What are those? just the odd deep noises that we all associate with creepy things, or is this actually neurological?

They used to do that in movies. The'd but in really low frequencies, pretty much unnoticeable unless you were looking out for them. I presume they'd be sort of disjointed chords but maybe not.

Anyway, the low frequencies were said to agitate some of the viewers. I think they banned it though, there probably has to be a warning now.
