yes maybe. i can only speak for europe mostly though...amsterdam is quite okay imho, and vienna. i haven't been to london for a while so i dont know about there. but compared to berlin anything is shit really, even in germany. the thing is that most partys in other places tend to end stupidly early? hamburg is quite okay in that respect and maybe frankfurt, but the nights there tend to go on til 10 AM max. whereas in berlin you can very easily dance 24/7...literally, the only days you might have problems with sometimes are tuesday evening and sometimes wednesday.

Clubs in Soeul are usually open till about 5, but club culture there is still shit. Clubs in Canada blow horse cock. Except the after-hour clubs, which are full of gay men, so the obvious joke is obvious.

SF has some okay clubs. I actually really like the Cat Club, which is a lesbian bar. Columbus has bars that do "club nights." Some are awesome and most are miserable. I didn't go to any clubs in Boston, because they all looked douchey as fuck.

Vegas has a lot of clubs, and they're mostly filled with meathead scum and girls you would find on Jersey Shore.

I dunno, "Clubs" are always bad for the most part. I'm a fan of bars with the right vibe and a lot of dancing room. Esp when it feels like a house party. Drinks are cheaper, usually no cover, usually no dress code. but it really depends. But with that, it usually doesnt get fun until about 1am.

yeah, its all about bars in usa. Sometimes you find a really good one

I've found two decent clubs here and they are only decent on certain nights and only for certain times. So yeah, mostly miserable.

Clubs?... Clubs are just packs of scared and neurotic hipsters frozen by their vein popping black American Apparel© trousers....

Yeah around here the word "club" tends to refer to a place where people get dressed up and dance to hip hop and pop. yuck :( There are some industrial / goth clubs, and a few trance / pop dance mix clubs in West Hollywood (BoysTown™). Bars? Top 40 hits + Classic Rock Jukeboxes.

In my experience, bars / clubs in the US are closed by 2am (4am in rare cases).

If you want anything close to the style of clubs in the rest of the world (i.e. niche music 'til sunrise) you've gotta' seek out one-off private events and/or house parties.

If anyone else in the L.A. area knows of a good braindance night or one-off please let me know. For the love of God.
