That might cut the mustard for entertainment in Romania, but if you watch programs like fear factor or whatever, you can see people eating bull testicles and the like.

you cant get that big without roids. Look at all the bodybuilders from the old days pre-60's. No one was that big. Now everyone is huge.

and you find that more outrageous? also i (can) watch the same programs as you do, and even more, if I may. from where did you think i learned english, from school? in fact, entire generations of romanians have learned perfect english only from watching cartoon network in english. but you weren't aware, nor intuitive, so i guess you are excused

If you watch professional sports, you can see players blowing their noses on TV, live, nearly every day of the week. So yes, I find people eating bull testicles for the chance to win 50,000 dollars a bit more shocking than a natural bodily function. I would refute the claim that generations of Romanians have learned perfect English through watching Cartoon Network simply because the station was only launched in 1998 in your area.

Don't be offended, I'm not calling Romania a cultural backwater, merely saying if one watches programs like Fear Factor, one can see those types of things. I have no idea if those programs are available in Romania on broadcast TV, but I'm sure the glorious Romanian nation outdoes all others on the planet in availability of television programming.

This would be all great if the recent eastern european additions to watmm were actually from eastern europe and not the US.
