same guy, apparently he printed a goddamn wrench (03:00).

tech support is gonna be a bitch on these...

a friend of a friend had one of those.. it prints (or sculpts) in extremely fine detail.

the thing is, you have to use the material they give you, so no wrenches made out of steel quite yet.

I want to up scale the size of the printer and have it in my garage and download cars of my own design and use it as a production line.

it's the future man. the reason I pulled this thread up again was because my wife was reading an article in a womens magazine and it said in the future we would be 3d printing our own clothes. not sure how that would work as cotton is malable like plastic. unless our future clothes will be plastic instead. anyway i showed her the video and it blowed her mind
