I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

My friend spent a few weeks there while on a 7 month trip around S.America, if you check in the list on the right you'll see a few BA folders http://my.opera.com/8bitlobster/albums/

Just spoke to him and here's few things he mentioned: Recommends to stay in Palermo or Recoleta. Downtown can be sketchy at night. MALBA is a cool art museum. Check a football game, perhaps Boca Jrs for the atmosphere but that's the middle of the ghetto, River Plate is a nicer stadium but it's further away. When there's a game on trains are free as they can't police it (not sure if he meant they are actually free or you can just get away with not paying). There's an expensive hotel called Pan Americano which has a pool on the roof with a nice view. Sorry didn't get the names of any places to eat. Hope this is at least a little bit useful.

ImageShack didn't like my idea of checking out the ladies.

Not to be missed : La Recoleta Cemetary. When I was there, i couldn't stop taking pics, it's the cemetary of the VIPs of Buenos Aires. Jaw-dropping mausoleums, pure extravaganza.

Otherwise, go to San Telmo (a neighbourhood)to see tango dancers on the street and eat a grilled pizza (yes, they love that). Go to Palermo Soho for the trendy side of Buenos Aires.

Lots of other stuff to do but can't exactly remember the names.
