to be fair, they arrested him a couple of years back for being asleep in his car. (perfectly legal)

the offense was compounded by the fact that he had a gram or so of hash on him ( oooohh, they busted the £5 kid), and that he had (frreely available on the open market) porn in the boot (trunk) of his car.

i imagine he#ll either be able to choose when and how he serves his time in line with current proffesional commitments, or he'll cry a bit and get sent home.

That is the most popular method of smoking it. There are other ways though.

I like how the prescription sedatives (benzos no doubt) are mentioned 2nd to the herb, when we know that the pills were most likely the main culprit.

haters gonna hate, but i think about half of listen without prejudice vol. 1, most of older, and especially the singles off older (some really nice gay housey remixes and the like) are absolutely excellent pop music, and some is just excellent music full stop. george mentioned in a few interviews in the past that he was smoking about a quarter of dutch skunk a day around the time of recording older, and you can totally hear it in the album - on the obviously-not-intended-for-a-single tracks, it's positively ambient at times. fuckit - 'jesus to a child' is almost a less depressing pop version of later talk talk stuff:
