Braintree
As the title suggests, these two tracks are supposed to be played back to back because they bleed into one another. The first is kind of a dark cliq-hop track, the second is a spastic drill track. william_s._braintree___working_title.mp3 2.74 MB · 37 downloads and william_s._braintree___pork_you_in_the_phonehead.mp3 2.31 MB · 35 downloads These are probably a couple of the most extensively detailed tracks I've done, so Any feedback at all would be delightful. Guest wasps
1st track + exquisite cuts, super tight programming, nice languid progression. inspiring, actually... – a touch empty, the focus is very much on the percussion/drums 2nd track + this kind of programming always awes me, just the amount of work and input. – again, the musical elements take a back seat to the drums, despite more happening than the previous tuna. they both have the same minimal feel, with the melodic elements used sparingly and with thought. there is more room for extra elements, particularly in the 2nd track. it works in favour for track 1 as you get a sense of a build, but for track 2 a fuller sound would add to the sense of progression... is my tuppenece worth o' fudge. sisforawesome
awesome man, these are pretty cool. i like how the first track is like, mainly repetitive, but keeps it appeal throughout by adding in various elements and barely changing each time. the faint paddish melodyish stuff is great too, carries the track a long well. i like it. :) nice crossover into the second track. this track seems more frantic and seems to just have more of a presence. i like the simplistic melodiy/bassline, with glitchy percussion. great tracks, i really like 'em. Braintree
Thanks guys! Wasps: Yeah, I think there's a bit more room for some other parts in the backround. I'll probably add in some little things as accents. I'll definitely beef it up before I think about releasing any of it in some kind of album format. Guest test pattern
i liked all the elements of the 1st track....just thought it could use some more synths in there.....wasn't as hot on the second track.....good beats n such just wasnt a fan of any of the instrument sounds.....well the deep bass was pretty fat, but the rest where too cheesy, 70s, renaissance/middle age sounding.....like if da vinci arrived in 1970 and bob moog was like 'check out this phat new synthesizer i created, its polyphonic..." these would be the sounds da vinci would have created.....hmmmm.....maybe i just wasnt keen on the melody.... encey
working title - 0:48 -- put something there! totally empty space you could fill with a far sample or a queaf or, yknow, somethin nice and raunchy. >: } i really like the shit goin on after 1:10. the vocal samples make it funky as hell. you could even possibly bring em in earlier? the drums are real nice and everchanging. i really like the weird flutey and kind of scrapey feedback sounds that are goin on up high there, really adds a nice weirdness to the vibe. pork you in the phonehead - hahah! i really like the classical vibe with the melody and countermelody. so you've got the instrument on the R that sounds very cello-like. but then the counterpart that comes in at 0:29 is a sort of stock 8-bit synth sound. i think it might be cooler if the sound on the L was more like the sound on teh R, either both string-type envelopes, or maybe a wind instrument? they might sort of blend their parts together better that way? i like all the funny bits in there, like the dialing-on-a-phone type sound. nice tracks dude encey Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide encey's signature Hide all signatures essines said: i am hot shit ... that smells like baking bread.
