these are all official artist links from these artists, labels or shops. I don't know if they post or their staff but it looks like most of them do it themselves

not to burst your bubble but i highly doubt Aphex twin has a real twitter feed, that callls into question some of your list as being official

how easy is it still on twitter to pretend you are someone you're not? i heard they made it a lot 'harder' since some movie stars got upset, but when it comes to an idm musician i think pretty much anyone could fake it

on the other hand i've seen it followed and posted by some pretty legit type folks, not to mention it hardly ever tweets so it could very well be real.

this guy was the first who followed aphextwin as you can see he is the first on the list of aphextwin followers. I was nr. 8 so nobody did know this aphex account back then. I found it because warpbot was following the PhexTwin account (they seem to not do it anymore) . probably to send him messages as you only can send private messages to people that you are connected with. as I found the PhexTwin he had just tweeted the message above. sure all can be coincidence. or I found something. boc is official so why not aphex? even with this backstory.

sure you can but they post stuff before anybody else has it. some of them have very exclusive footage etc. its not myspace but still most of the accounts are linked from official pages (thats where I found them in parts) or are tweeting in a way that you can see they are real. as twitter is most of the time about news its not enough to upload 4 mp3s and some pictures. nearly all of the accounts I listed do post news about these artists some on a daily basis that are nowhere before. like mr. oizo did post his trailer for rubber on twitter first + chatting about it weeks before anybody had big news on it. still you are right you have to be careful with the myspace past in mind. but its impossible to fake first hand news + exclusive knowledge that is tweeted for month and is much later verified by other sources.
