The label's entire (excellent) discog is on spotify btw. As well as bands already mentioned, I recommend Jono El Grande.

hmm I only find 2 tracks by supersilent from compilations. same with deathprod. I never use spotify anyway.

I tried to search for the label earlier today but "label:runegrammofon" and "label rune grammofon" gave no results. Deathprod and Supersilant have just a few tracks up, but other artists like Alog have most tracks up there. Search for "money will ruin everything" and you can click on to each of the artists there.

yeah there is some rune grammofon, but not all of it. no deathprod and no supersilent.

supersilent 1-3 is pretty awesome too, as is 5/6. i have 8 but can never get around to listening to it. Their music takes effort to enjoy/grasp and often I dont feel like it. when i dont like a supersilent track i usually think it is something wrong with me, not them. They are simply on a higher level than most everyone.

Yeah I'm exactly the same, I feel like I should love their tracks (especially as I'm a huge deathprod fan) but just something hasn't clicked with me to enjoy their albums. They're pretty heavy going and I feel my brain can't take it all in ...

Ah, you kids with your hi tech internets

they put an unreleased track on a Wiretapper cd (free with the Wire magazine) that was from a live set around the 5-6 era, that was what originally hooked me. still is a highlight for me.

Supersilent is like Autechre as a band.

Yeah Elephant9 is grade A jazz fusion.

yeah supersilent is great ! love what I've heard from them during all those years. 6 and 8 comes to mind. recently got 9, and it's pretty nice as well.

as for rune grammofon, i really love this label. deathprod solo is absolutely amazing. gotta love some arve henriksen, too. actually, "stjorn" might be my favorite rune grammofon release.
