My favourite Hurdy Gurdy player is Valentin Clastrier, by the way. Check out his fantasstic album "Vielle à Roue".

Also, Donovan got Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham together for the recording of this song... pre-Zeppelin (Page was Donovan's regular session guitarist and Jones was Donovan's musical arranger).

wow now thats a band with the potential to be better than zep.

 

i always HATED plant, thought he was the worst part of the group. always wished the three of them could have just become the worlds best jam band.

not only that, but there's an extra verse he only plays live which george harrison wrote for him when they were in india.
