Opinions on Creative Commons

I personally believe in the right for someone else to share and remix my creations as long as I am attributed in some way. How about you guys?

I think culture builds upon itself, and I am a Lawrence Lessig fag, I mean fan.

I put that exact version of the CC licence on my first two albums. Didn't put anything on my third one because I forgot, but it doesn't really matter to me what people do with it so it's all good.

My stuff is all under Creative Commons as well. At this point, I just don't wanna charge for my music. That may change in the future, but I prefer the idea of free music for all.

I think it's a cool thing when you can choose whether you want to download something for free (medium/good quality) or buy the physical copy in excellent quality with artwork etc.

free mp3 mixes are good to get your shit out there to people who wouldnt normally pay to listen to it but are willing to give it a go
