yea some of it is really freakin good. but some stuff sounds like a grizzly bear rip off and that sax solo in coronado is nothing but

overall the good outweighs the bad by a very large margin though

well I started that leading up until the release.. then I couldn't find it.. so I started another one lol

this has grown on me a lot. "earthquake" sounds like cocteau twins "lazy calm" mixed with "syndir guos" by sigur ros. "fountain stairs" is quickly becoming my favorite deerhunter song. it's a great album. and the sax solo in "coronado" is genius, it sounds like an e street band song done by a garage band.

earthquake is really nice. memory boy and desire lines are clear standouts right away for me as well. there is a lot to like here. maybe i need to to revisit microcastles.
