Racism? Violence? You betcha!

Recommended Posts

This video is making rounds on reddit and I'd like to get watmm's opinion on it. Discussion is almost impossible on reddit because anything other than "lol fat bitch got owned" is downvoted. Anyway...

Edit: NSFW, if anyone is wondering. There's cursing, oh my!

i'm okay with the hose if she called someone a nigger

why is that?

i don't think the guy responded appropriately. i think he could've used restraint instead of going ballistic with rage. combating hate with even more hate never did anyone good--i've learned that much from the civil rights movement, which used peaceful methods to accomplish something fantastic.

why the fuck is she in a wheelchair when she can get up and walk around?

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

i agree that his response wasn't the best route and that it doesn't help ease racial tensions. i don't think he's a hero or anything, but "ballistic with rage" is a bit of a stretch. he sprayed someone with a garden hose in response to a racial slur. i don't know i'm not going to stand up for his right to hose someone or anything, but i'm not sympathetic to a hose victim. maybe if she was just innocently passing by and they picked on her, then i'd call that an attack. this was more of a childish response.

edit: this is assuming that she actually did say that, i have no idea

Someone please work out what the hell she's saying. First I thought she's saying something like "that's my car" when the car passes by, and then the guy thinks she's addressing him. But that doesn't make sense.

the only thing that is fine in that vid is the girl at 1:35

Could be. Could also very well be a 13 year old kid, I can't tell.

i agree that this was barely rage... i think the guy was fairly good about it considering , he just laughed it off with his friend.

Good.

Bah

heres the deal:

i don't know whether or not this is "fine." it might be totally wrong. also we don't really know what happened before or after, or the real story. but from the information given we are made to see an old woman in an electric wheelchair call a black man a "nigger," presumably (i couldn't make out a single word she said), and then the "victim" himself spraying her with a hose. also we see the "handicapped" woman walking around. we really don't know if she deserved it, or what really happened.

that said, i enjoyed watching it. this woman - presumably - incapsulates many of the things in this world that infuriate me and make me want to kill myself and give up (after going to the mall and opening fire on the rich old fucks at the rich people stores). people like her make me lose hope in living life, being a human being, and the future of our species on this planet.

i really liked the part where the bigoted fat stupid old cunt in the wheelchair got soaking wet. i don't know if that counts as "violence." more like a minor inconvenience that will probably frustrate her deeply (deliciously) and make her stomp her stupid fucking conservative bigot wrinkly old woman feet on the ground. she didn't get hurt.

while that is how i felt about the video itself, i can't really say i know what happened.

here is the truth:

i'm so, so, so happy that these people are dying off. fuck em. they hold the world back.

edit: i'm not a hateful person, take this with a grain of salt. but really, it does feel good to express that anger in a pure way.

The more I watch it the more it looks staged or something. Why is there one guy holding the camera, with one guy behind him, filming the guy with the hose watering the grass???

Is it that they film all day on the off chance that something will happen that they can then throw on Youtube, Reddit, WATMM or whatever the fuck?

:doge: Jet fuel can't melt dank memes :doge:

my guess is there was something going off with the lady that they decided to film.
