thanx for the nice words:) well I opened some software discussion on the Aphex Twin forum some time ago, so I visit watmm, even I don`t write so often.. I thought its a good idea to post here, because the people who heard of me don`t connect me with more experimental stuff.. and this release needs a small push:)

I thought the record is out, but i guess its some pre-sale. I belive it will be out in 1-2 weeks or so..

Probably a reference to the Aural Exciter.

i still haven`t tried the products of Aphex Systems hehe:) but i heard that their latest tube compressor can make the drums really phat!

I was very confused, Richard Devine started posting Kink stuff and i could have sworn i heard aphex twin Winder Licker samples and samples from 'crappy' strewn through out it. IS it being marketing as aphex twin remixes? need a little more explanation

All I know is I just listened to Caustic Soda and the bassline is lifted straight out of one of the Joyrex tracks...

no, it isn't Aphex remixes. Just tracks with similar styles e.g. Roots of Techno has a very similar kick to Windowlickers

as far as I know, none of the drums are direct samples.... just Kink trying his best to sound similar to Afx in an ode of respect I guess.

Soda Caustic is a remix of a Caustic Window track, not an ode whatsoever...
