recommend me some beckett.

You should check out "waiting for Godot". It's pretty funny and really short, so if you don't like it the time investment is pretty small.

I've heard good things about "Krapp's last tape" but haven't gotten around to it yet

yeah waiting for godot is the one i was drawn to most probably cos i've heard of it before. i'll check it out thanks.

i would start with waiting for godot as well. it's an ABSOLUTELY GENIUS play. my favourite play in fact. then maybe you can read some of his texts for nothing and krap's last tape.

then you can read Malloy, Malone dies, and The Unnameable.

beckett is wonderful.

Isn't that the latest Snares release?

i liked the mismatched DVd boxset 'beckett on film' it's hit or miss but when it's hit it's really awesome. Some of them are over an hour long, some are no more than 1 minute long
