well pics, i couldn't get any - the only light there was in the room was the light coming from laptops of the artists, and unfortunately mobile phone cameras don't fare too well in dim lighting.

also, unbeknownst to me when making this thread, the night was actually guestlist only. it was pure fucking luck that me and my old housemate (who accompanied me for the night) were actually able to get in due to the absolute cunt of a landlord (who actually ended up finishing the night early because someone was smoking weed).

as for the night itself (once we actually got in, and what we heard), fucking awesome. Met a LOT of cool people there, every single person i spoke to was completely and ultimately passionate about music. it's very rare that i get to hang out with people who feel the same about this kind of stuff as i do, so it was awesome for me.

and for a few other reasons (which i won't go into here), it was a very memorable night for me. one i certainly won't forget.

yeah definitely, this year (although having had some personal lows) has musically been amazing, this Skam night having been the best of the lot.

fucking hell, triple voddy coke...i won't be able to feel my face. awesome. yeah i'll be sure to let you know if there's anything else going down.

yeah he played live, and dropped some new material too. the tracks that he did play that we've already heard, there were some stuff that was new...like i dunno, a "live" version of the tracks if you will. all done from a laptop though, no cool S-VHS tape decks or stuff like that. still very awesome to hear.

well, the Fresh Mess Skam night is done, as far as i know..but i dunno, stuff might happen again...i'll be keeping my ear to the ground, because it was an awesome night not just for the music, but the people too.
