according to this list, Equidity Funk is the most expensive thing ever sold on discogs. what exactly makes this record so valuable? it doesn't say anything in its article about being rare. does anyone know anymore about this?

also happened to see twoism on that list at #23 :emotawesomepm9:

yeah that was the only one that stuck out to me. i mean twoism is good and all but that's status quo for that kind of thing.

i love how once you get up toward the top the prices just start growing exponentially, like twice as much as the next most expensive, and so on into stupid money infinity.

thats not a definitive list at all.... just yesterday I was looking at a la monte young recording that was 625 for the CD and 1200 for the LP.... in dollars. So that's all wrong.

paying that much for a CD, even a 12cd set seems wrong, i assume most of those can be found online no?

Yeah I've got the content. I'm just a fool for presentation sometime. Not going to pay seven hundred dollars for it tho :emotawesomepm9:

I think the most I've spent on Discogs was about £50.

Not much in the grand scheme of things but a lot to me

Not even going to say how much I spent..... But I can tell you this list is not very accurate because my purchase would be up there

I never bothered buying expensive stuff off there.

Was let done by one plate's quality and another snapped in the post.

I'll find my rare shit the old fashioned way. Up Soho at crack of dawn on thursdays when the shops get their weekly shipment.
