Recomend me a cheap recorder

Almost looks like a quite cool futuristic ghettobox dare I say. Interesting. Just wondering what applications it might be good for.

i like the H4n because it has xlr inputs (I have the h4, the previous model of it, and i really like it - h4n is supposed to be a much slicker version).

that tascam looks like it'd do the trick too, the zooms are just a bit cheaper and smaller.

I went for the H1 (even cheaper)

I have the Edirol R-09 and I'm very satisfied with it

Ur. Brain MEM-F-1 is a good unit to use.
