I will hope for a repeat for my Hawks, but doubt they will do it. They will be a contender, even with the exodus in the off-season. I expect big years from both Toews and Kane, with the latter sniffing the 100 pt barrier, maybe even surpassing it. Having Hossa in from the start should also help offset the losses. The defensive core is largely intact and Turco should help the already dangerous transition game once the team gets used to his game, otherwise it's a wash in goal, IMO.

You really think the Blues will win it all? What do you exactly see in them? I could see them being like the Hawks two years ago and advance far in the playoffs but ultimately fall short. The Canucks I hope will break under the huge pressure put on them a third straight exit in the second round against the Hawks again? The whole East conference is big meh to me. Hope the Caps fail. Could see the Lightning improve a lot from last year. The Leafs will once again be a joke.

Joke man, joke.

I actually enjoy watching hockey but over here you just don't get it. Seen a few games in Canada a few years back.

i manage to watch 81+ games a season.

the blues.. i dont know i have a feeling between them and the wild. new faces and all that. it'll be certainly intresting this season compared to the last 3, where apart from last year had your contenders win (or at least end up in the finals)

it'll also be intresting when the pens play the flyers tonight, see how there stanleycup final hangover has affected them.

your east is like my west, i just cant stay up that late and watch a western game, apart from a few one offs when the pens play the canucks or the ducks or the kings or calgary (who are also i think going to have a good season) the east, lucky for me, are in a nice 5- hour time zone where i am so i can deal with it.

Blues can't help to upset their fans. New faces will give the team freshness, true. They definitely needed an overhaul from previous seasons. Hopefully no more Legacy's

Though I give you props for supporting the note, not many fans I know will even stick up for these guys.

This, I'm sure, will be another year of pointlessly cheering for the Leafs. But hey, statistically they should win this year. By which I mean they're due.

This will mark the first year I'll be watching games in HD. So I'm exited.

i tell you somthing.

BOBROVSKY is going to be somthing, the 21 year old made his full nhl debut yesterday night and stopped almost everything thrown at him, Sv %.935 (31-2), thats with a crosby, malkin, comrie, powerplay.

the pens again look weak on the PP i think they were 20th in PP last year. i think its first game jitters and now the pen can go and do somthing on saturday vs the CANADIENS. i might add im a big PK Subban fan ever since he spin-o-rama'd malkin behind his own goal in the play offs last year. so as i have a soft spot for the Canadiens im looking forward to this game quite alot

Wish i could stay up and watch it this season, but i started a new job so early starts wouldn't suit me staying up watching hockey all night :( Maybe when im on night shifts eh? haha
