Definitely, nice to see a different direction, reminds me a little of The Grand Electric Palace Of Variety. And I should say I created this thread before I saw this one. Probably a bit hasty in calling this a Gasman album, no offence meant to Mr. Reeves. Then again, hopefully having two threads will help draw more attention to it.

The amount of sheer complexity in this song is dazzling, and the continual shift in rhythm and melody before frequently resolving itself is just .... the piano tracks on powerpoints are great too.

Frolic off of Powerpoints is great.

yes and what a beautiful postcard it is - i should probably mention that the music is fucking amazing too.

if i was to sum up the way i feel about it i would say i always felt a bit scared when i was at a rave (back in the day) that everything would start to go wrong due to taking too much errrrrr you know what! but often tried to push it and sort of peak over the edge of insanity. well this cd is like gazing into the pit of insanity but unerstanding its beauty

Amazing album. Gas Man has released an awesome body of work in the last ten years.

Should (and probably deserves) to have a dedicated forum on here by now. This guy creates some truly beautiful pieces that never get any kind of wider recognition.

Even on here, he doesn't get talked about much.

This One's For You is still for me the best Gasman's album, but I enjoy almost all his new releases, keep an eye for a few crazy unreleased tracks
