I just rewatched There Will Be Blood and damn did this kid acted like a motherfucker. I hope he can do it again, he played that role quite well. Also, There Will Be Blood is phenomenal.

oh yea, squishing his face in the mud/oil. killer. i could watch that movie everyday. the way he eats that steak and chugs that gin in the bowling alley is epic. brilliant.

it is also hard to watch. dano squeals so convincingly that you almost have to feel sorry for him. till he attacks his father.

god damn i love this movie.

i like when dano steps toward the well when daniel is dedicating it and then realizes in an instant how he is about to be treated.

good film by itself..but it's an overwrought turd compared to his punch-drunk love, which is simply perfect.

anyway, ignoring that shit, this was by far danos best role. being paired with day lewis was a godsend for him.

but without his performance the movie would not have been so great.

have you seen him act in a movie where he says more than 10 lines?

i dont't see the relation between his character in little miss sunshine and his character in there will be blood. what am i missing?

i think the michael cera comparison is a bit off base. even though i agree michaels cera only play michael cera. he should have stuck to arrested development.

I was rewatching the Sopranos the other day and was surprised to see Paul Dano playing one of Anthony Jr's friends...

I thought Dano did as good as he could in TWBB, but he was slightly out of his depth. Great film though.
