Today is a good day.

I got up at seven to go to work for eight thirty. Got to work about fifteen minutes late only to learn that we had a water main/pasturization tank failure, so no work. I got paid (!!!), bought some beer, the new Enslaved album and came home. Had a shower and now i am sitting at my computer, sipping on some Phillips Slipstream ale wondering how, after 12:00pm, this day could get better. Canucks play the Ducks tonight, after that i am going to watch some local bands (my buddy's band included) downtown. The sun is out and I am, for once in a long time, a happy man. Now if i could just get laid. I guess i will leave that until tonight at the show.

well, from what little i have heard about the ducks it won't really matter how shitty the nucks play they will still find it hard not to come out with a W. The canucks have learned to be a far more physical team, and once burrows returns they will only get better. i think they can do well this season, very happy that Henrik is wearing the C now. even though both daniel and henrik should have the C. that'd be the day.

the pens will lose tonight. against a winning leafs side and 1-2-0 pens team who cant score for shit on any PP they get. also to add to the woe, orpik and michaek are out as well. leaving the pens with a massive gap in the Defence

daniel has an A, of course. It's Henrik with the C, Daniel and Kesler with the A's. I think Salo may have an A but he has yet to play this season. Henrik would be nothing without daniel, and kesler or Burrows for that matter. They all deserve respect.

i'm not very religious when it comes to watching games but i have a feeling canucks are a better team this year and will do better
