Multiband stereo enhancer.

I need something like in izotope ozone. It's actually perfect but it takes loads of cpu. I need just an enhancer without maximizer, eq, etc. any ideas? thanks.

mda stereo? you have to download all the plug-ins at once but they're good, pc/mac both available

edit: sorry, actually i don't think that's multiband

shouldn't you be able to do this with a couple of parametric EQs and autopanners or something?

Could someone give a good, concise explanation of stereo enhancing, while we're at it? It's not something I've looked into yet.

heh all I have tried is the Reason mastering and Waves bundle stereo imagers. They were good enough but I rarely use them.

I'm guessing it doesn't do much if one is mixing minimal mono music.

Yeah, i am able to do this with izotope ozone but i want to save cpu. and it's much easier to have one plugin than to use 8 plugins on 4 splitted tracks.

Yeah, but minimal stereo music sounds much better imho.

forgive me if this is obvious, but have you tried disabling all the other modules in ozone? i don't think the enhancer itself is too CPU-heavy. .
