from the 'Turn the dark off' cd, one of the key moments in my life when it comes to music.

i'm gonna have to check him out... i have one howie b record that's with sly & robbie, but i know i've heard his production... i love nellee hooper too

the sly & robbie collaboration is good, as is turn the dark off (save for that one horrible vocal/spoken word track)

still like music for babies .. from time to time

Whats the score with him, have been googlng gig reviews but nothing is showing up. Did he do much gigs at all? Did anyone see him live? or is he mainly known for just producing and creating studio works, like say the way Kate Bush does it, where she stopped touring in 1980 and has since just done studio CDs. I really like this new stuff he is doing with the album Good Morning Scalene, nice chilled and mainly downbeat stuff.

I think he used to do shows because I remember reading that he used two Notron sequencers live.

I love just how restrained hardware-based setups sound, even if this does get pretty repetitive. The guy takes a nice hook and runs with it for a few mins. Remember this popping up on MTV, after Offspring or something, making my ears prick up.
