awepittance
i don't know of any specific ones off hand but the term usually used for this kind of filter is an 'envelope follower' filter or you can even achieve pretty good results with some of the auto-wah plugins for guitar players Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide awepittance's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/60643-vst-acid-effect/#findComment-1438461 Share on other sites

awepittance
if you are on PC this should do the trick - Quote The Classic Auto-Filter is an analog modeled four-pole filter with resonance control. It can be used for creative effects like auto-wah-wah and filter sweeps, as well as a fixed filter for equalizing purposes. The filter is selectable between low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-reject (notch). The filter cut-off frequency can be modulated from the envelope follower and the LFO. free download link - http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1468.html Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide awepittance's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/60643-vst-acid-effect/#findComment-1438500 Share on other sites

BCM
you can also just use automated knob movements on your chosen vst to produce cutoff and resonance tweaking. or set up an lfo to control cutoff and/or resonance, envmod etc. you don't need a dedicated effect for this.
