I would appreciate this because I have just started digging away the the tracks in this forum to find new tunes, but Ive only just started and would like reccommendations to favorite netreleases etc.

I cant possibly know what the classic tracks have been over the last year or two can I? surely youd have a better idea.. . and besides that I can definately go searching if you give me names and track titles etc.. . I really just dont want to listen to some of the more amateurish stuff as I know theres some real talent on here.. . allways has been. ..

i think Max is suggesting that might be a closed-minded way of thinking about this forum and you'd risk not hearing some really awesome stuff that you would have found just listening to random people.

watmm is so often denying that there's a "general" classic term and that the awesomeness felt by one must not be the one for another. a random listen gives a good output here... and when i have the time...then a random listen through 10 tracks takes the same time like 10 classical chosen ones.

i also feel sticking to hints from others doesn't respect watmm nor the artists posting here. you also don't get an idea from what is "basically" the YLC, so how do you define "classic" the ?

i remember that i have been titling some guys as amateurish, that came out to be not. and i also remember on some of the comments i got on work what was simply experimental.

before i call others to tell me some, i would at first go and check and comment some. afterworks i can decide if that was crap...and if i want to get some help for searching - but that is not fact in this case. and yes - i'd say thats pretty closed-minded from my point of view

... I certainly think it's a bit unfair to attack Glitchy-face for a simple request, I mean, all the threads from a coupla years ago were lost within WATMM's numerous downtimes.

At the same time, I do think that if you're asking for this, and if you have time (evidently you do, or you wouldn't ask for a catch-up in the first place) that you should go through here and start downloading random stuff again... cos you never know what you're gonna find and I'm sure most people would love even a simple one word reply to their threads.

Tho it's not like you sia dyou're NOT gonna do this so for all we know maybe you were :P
