My contribution to Halloween 2010

I've finally gotten around to releasing my latest film online, promised myself I would get it done before Halloween. I've previously sent a download link privately to a few watmm-people (mostly those who had mentioned in some post that they were into Silent Hill, as the project is heavily Silent Hill-inspired), now I made it publicly available and posted it on stagevu. The spoken language is German but frankly I don't think it matters. Here it is:

Some info about the content of the film:

Our project SILENT THRILL is half documentation half feature film, portraying the events that took place in a modified house during Halloween Night 2009.

Participants were sent out in teams of two to conquer different rooms and solve various tasks and puzzles within a frightening environment, equipped with nothing but a map of the location.

The film evaluates the behaviour of the individual teams as they progress through the rooms while presenting itself from a 1st person perspective, merged with original footage from multiple surveillance cameras throughout the building.

I recommend watching it in the dark and either with headphones or a nice speaker system.

What the blue blazes, how come there's no replies to this masterpiece ?

WOW - you did one hell of a great job there. I can't even imagine how long it took to prepare all of that, and you even went as far as flooding a room in your house ! Just fantastic stuff, from the lighting and the sound design, God knows how freaked out I would've been if I had attempted to take the challenge

You must've been a touch pissed off by Davis and Haddy when they destroyed all your hard work and kinda wondered all over the place, but the first group really got into it and I really picked up on how genuinely scared they were.

It would make one hell of a TV show, if you had like a proper budget and were able to make loads and loads of rooms it would be a fantastic viewing experience. And you edited it all together fantastically as well and captured what must've been an amazing night.
