Just updated my profile on Myspace - what a mission!

Wow what a mission that was!!

Well for starters I had to shrink all the images of flyers for nights I'd played at to make them more presentable on the page. I got rid of various boxes or modules as they call them. Essentially I got rid of the comments bit which is just spam now. Also I uploaded a couple of new tunes. All in all I think that took me about 3hrs to figure out as I've upgraded to the new myspace look and so had to work it all out from scratch. Not sure why I bothered to be honest lol but still its looking kinda neat.

Anyways take a look gang. Myspace updated.

speaking of no one using myspace, i logged on a while back and sent a message to Wax Stag. i was delighted that he replied, and answered my question, but I could tell he was surprised that anyone still used MySpace.

I am amazed they're still hanging in there. I honestly can't see Myspace being around much longer ... maybe a year or two max.

Funny though because they do seem to have improved certain things e.g you can store up to 100 tunes and have 10 public which is enough. The streaming rate seems to be much better now that is my tracks sound as they should do. And the layout can be modified to your liking although that takes a while to get right.

they're about to do a complete redesign of the entire site (not just your profile), so they'll probably be around for a while longer.

and i wouldn't say it's dead really. sure, as a social networking site (esp compared to facebook) it is, but i still get feedback and people contacting me on my myspace all the time, and

i know lots of artists that are very much active on it.

I've had one interesting e-mail from myspace in the past year. I honestly don't bother logging in anymore ... maybe once every month if that. For me it literally is a total waste of space. They basically sat on their asses when they should have improved audio quality on streams and other stuff and now we all have soundcloud because we got bored of the shitty 96k streams.

I never had dreads but did try to grow em when I was a youngen lol. Oh I make all sorts musicwise Tht Tne you know dat. ;-) Anyways currently I'm back on a funk tip so watch this space!
