Exact Audio Copy, WAV, properties

Recommended Posts

I dont use EAC often. But Ive just ripped a CD and I didnt want to bother writing out all the track name because theyre quite long as it is a remix album.

Now I have the wavs in a folder and it wont let me change the properties of them (eg. Contributing artists, name etc)

I thought it would be easier just to use the Discog foobar plug in. Do I have to rip it again if I want it tagged correctly?

Theres an option in EAC to edit ID3 tags but it doesnt seem to do anything.

i reckon it uses additional file(s) to store the metadata

you can't store tags in wavs

yeah, if you're talking about tags appearing in iTunes, then it's a separate file that the tags are stored in.

the itunes.xml file
