A sweet vid by nkurence, documenting the making of some unique dubplates for uni; transparent vinyl bonded to laser-etched wood veneers. We had some aluminium plates all set to go, but were scuppered before my deadline due to the lack of a CNC machine. The whole project was a lot of fun once the inevitable prototyping kinks were ironed out -- hopefully we can make a few more of these.
