Penultimate Persian

Not only is this my favorite Clark track but I think it's one of the best electronic songs ever

No doubt. Turning Dragon is one of the few albums I have in FLAC, and it's because of this song.

The first time I heard this song I was in my car driving at night. I rolled down my windows turned up the volume and was like WOW.

No doubt. Turning Dragon is the only electronic album I have as Vinyl, and it's because of this song.

i would buy Turning on LP just for the artwork.

perfectly suits the album.

I think I was at the gym on an elliptical machine when I first listened to this album.

i could never get enough of that slighty off piano at the end of this track. just killer.

I don't even think Clark can top this one

those synths are so aggressive, yet tasteful.

would love to hear this live.

edit- the track that leads into this is pretty fucking boss as well

^^ it's my favourite Clark track, so focused and so fucking brilliant.

Would consider tracking down the album on wax just for this track alone.... New Year Storm and Beg are also good :P

Beg just before Penultimate is a great contrast

Anyway Turning Dragon is very underrated... should get much more love!

but Penultimate Persian (Penultimate Mix) -Bonus Track For Japan- from "Growls Garden" is not good.

The first album I ever heard from Clark and still my favourite. So dirty. This track is a killer for sure.

I like the Penultimate mix better

Turning Dragon is pretty hard to listen to but this track definitely is a jewel. This and For Wolves Crew.

Yeah the album is ok and has some great highlights but PP is a pure gem.

I feel the same way about Totems flare too though. The Lux/totem/future trilogy in the middle is gold whereas I would rarely bother with the rest.

I do like his newer approach too but would love a more PP styled album maybe crossed with some dirt like Urgent on Throttle furniture.
