fuckin love that mix.. what say you?

I asked sencesor and he said that track was part of a rare bootleg compilation he found on slsk a while ago. As far as he knows there is no full recording of the concert.

He's still sharing it on slsk, so you might find a better quality mp3 there.

Is there a way to check whether Ae actually played in Minneapolis that day?

sounds fake to me, a very well done fake but still for being in 1999 i wouldn't expect AE to be using these sounds still. nice remix regardless

yeah, as far as i know, Ae live in 1999 were mostly max/msp/computers. so it would not really fit with this track.

could have been a dj thing but i dont know...

They were still playing modified versions of Tilapia at this point so I wouldn't be too surprised if this was legit. If it's a fake it's very well done.

it sounds like a nice fan remix, there aren't any new sounds in this track that sound AE characteristic besides the ones i have literally heard before from Tewe itself.

it also would be unlikely they would be playing Chiastic tracks in 1999, AE aren't known for going into their back catalog much during live shows except for the occasional Tri repeate or Incunabula snippet which i think they only really did during the Chichilisuite show era , i mean it is possible, its just suspicious that it's A) a soundboard (and as a hardcore AE fanboy i have to my knowledge every AE soundboard) B) its only one track with no sounds from the previous or next track if it is indeed from alive set

yes if this is ae (OMG IS IT????) this wouldn't be an album track. jammy, live track. structure is simple, sounds are simple.

and thats exactly why it aint an AE track my man (well not from '99 anyways)

No idea whether it's real or not. Both is kinda possible somehow ...

Anyway, does anyone know whether they played this (definitely authentic) bit on another occasion?

aewhat.mp3Fetching info...

I spontaneously recorded it in Köln, Germany, Quaristice tour. I haven't heard this bit in the other Quaristice recordings. Quality is beyond horrible but should be enough to recognize the melody, I loved this part. Also I like how the one crowd-dude's scream gets shredded by the bass and compression in the beginning.

That bit is in all the quaristice bootlegs, it's the start of the third passage (for want of a better way of putting it :P )......kicks in around 21/22 mins in the set.

Ah, you're right, I was being stupid. For some reason I mistook the 2005 Glasgow set for the Quaristice recording. I've been wondering for the last to years why it was so different to the one I heard.
