Street Fighter: your favourite?

Been playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 recently which is bloody hard vs computer but a lot of fun! I played Street Fighter 4 at a friend's but overall found it a bit slow. Anyways what's your favourite one?

the only one i've ever played significantly was super street fighter ii turbo and i always got my ass handed to me because noah played as dhalsim and i sucked

Ha ha I dunno if you should try Alpha 3 then 'cause you'd probably get really pissed off like I do with it!!

i've never been any good at multiplayer games, especially fighters, except as sub-zero or liu kang in mortal kombat

i've never been any good at multiplayer games, especially fighters, except as sub-zero or liu kang in mortal kombat

Just a question of practice you know. My fav beat em up is without doubt Soul Calibur 2 probably 'cause I'm pretty good at it lol. Never been that good at Street Fighter but it is a much harder game I would say.

i liked voldo in soul calibur 2 but again, i always got my ass handed to me... don't even get me started on unreal tournament

Greatest Street Fighter was the illegal Rainbow Edition.. mid-air fireballs that followed the other player around the screen, the 2 second charge up for a lot of moves (eg Sonic Boom) was gone, you could even change character mid-fight by pressing Start. When I first started playing Street Fighter as a kid I didn't know this was some sort of hacked version.... I was disappointed when playing Champion/Hyper/Turbo after that

Alpha 1, 2 and 3 are all same greatness level for me. First one had the Ken Ryou Bison trio fight, that might have been the best fighting thing ever.

Toss up between 3rd Strike for Dreamcast or Street Fighter 2 Turbo on Snes for me.
