He has brilliant songs on each one. Its hard to vote....

Exactly, I didn't vote because my favourites seem to be a mix of tracks from each release.

He needs a "Best of" haha. My own mix would be from Clarence Park, Turning Dragon and Totems Flare.

Oh fuck, and Body Riddle. I like that title because it sounds like an Italian Giallo flick.

See what I mean.

Album: Body Riddle - though the others aren't far behind.

EP: Throttle Promoter because the songs are straight jackin' and it doesn't include any album tracks. Throttle Furniture is a close second but loses out due to an album track and a remix of an album track (that are great but make the whole EP less exclusive than Promoter).

Slow Spines is on Empty The Bones of You, which I voted for. It was a very close call between ETBOY and Body Riddle, but ETBOY has more tracks, so I think that's what did it. Ludd, that 12" is Throttle Promoter.

I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

turning dragon art is killer but etboy is real nice too. i think throttle promoter is the best ep but i voted for ceramics for nostalgic purposes. i love the wood block tock noise in rob lee.

but im with deepex, slow spines on etboy is the business.

lol, just not enough love for Turning Dragon... the most (timbrally and structurally) focused of all his albums imo. Artwork and sound is just so refined

Not gonna vote cause my opinion on the newer albums might change some more, but ETBOY and Ceramics are classic

I have a few more albums to hear before I can vote.

And after I do that, I still probably won't be able to decide.

  • 4 weeks later...

Listened through Body Riddle, all the Throttle EPs, and Totems Flare today. They're all splendid, but Clarence Park will always be my favorite. :3
