i don't really pay much attention to bpms, i just adjust it until it sounds comfortable for whatever i'm writing. that said though, i wrote a whole album at 150bpm once, just so i could have all of the tracks blend into each other.

when i was making alot of electronic music

my tempos varied but most tracks were consistant

in times of 100bpm 120bpm 140bpm 180bpm 240bpm 250bpm 320bpm 400bpm

does it seem weird for all the even kind tempos always ending in zero?

when i sample stuff tempos are always odd numbers ending in numbers other

than zero. trying to sync samples/phrases with each other ones

I thought ALL dubstep was produced at 140bpm so its easier to mix?

:whistling:

wellll, it varies considerably now, but originally it was ALL 138 (see: zinc - 138 trek, horsepower productions, early digital mystikz)

I was mostly making music around the 120bpm because that was ableton default

After that it was more around the 90-95bpm. Now Im trying to keep it 130bpm+

well dubstep is really about 70 since it's played half-time at 140. So it's really 70 with divisions up to 32nd notes.
