Guest ruiagnelo
Quote On January 24th, Aril Brikha will re-release his seminal debut album, Departure in Time. When it first came out ten years ago, Deeparture in Time marked Brikha as a young artist to watch. He was 24 years old, an Iranian ex-pat living in Sweden, and one of the few artists outside of Detroit to be released on Derrick May's Transmat label. A number of the tracks have risen to classic status in the years since the album's release, especially "Groove La Chord," which blurred the line between house and techno in a way that at the time seemed unprecedented. Deeparture In Time - Revisited features all ten of the album's original tracks, plus a second disc with ten songs recorded between 1995-1999, most of which are previously unreleased. The two-disc package will be the first release on Brikha's new label, Art of Vengeance (which fans will recognize as the title of his debut EP on May's sub-label, Fragile Records). Tracklist CD1 01. Embrace 02. Ottil 03. Sweet Lullaby 04. On & On 05. Setting Sun 06. Deeparture in time 07. Bytes 08. Groove La Chord 09. Headhunter 10. Read Only Memory CD2 01. Fuknit 02. Artoo 03. City Slicker 04. Way Back 05. Rising Sun 06. Electrocity 07. Tuff 08. Us (Part 1&2) 09. Aqua 10. Lone Rider Art of Vengeance will release Deeparture in Time - Revisited on January 24th, 2010. i think they mean 2011, not 2010 tho Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/61491-aril-brikha-departure-in-time-revisited/ Share on other sites
