On January 24th, Aril Brikha will re-release his seminal debut album, Departure in Time.

When it first came out ten years ago, Deeparture in Time marked Brikha as a young artist to watch. He was 24 years old, an Iranian ex-pat living in Sweden, and one of the few artists outside of Detroit to be released on Derrick May's Transmat label. A number of the tracks have risen to classic status in the years since the album's release, especially "Groove La Chord," which blurred the line between house and techno in a way that at the time seemed unprecedented.

Deeparture In Time - Revisited features all ten of the album's original tracks, plus a second disc with ten songs recorded between 1995-1999, most of which are previously unreleased. The two-disc package will be the first release on Brikha's new label, Art of Vengeance (which fans will recognize as the title of his debut EP on May's sub-label, Fragile Records).
