dogs don't understand basic concepts, like 'moving'

Recommended Posts

i've been following allie's blog for a long time now, and every entry is funnier than the one before... she just moved house, with two dogs - one with no self-esteem, and one with no brain.

I was laughing at first... but as it went it on I started to feel sorry for the dogs. These are some truly ignorant dog owners...

yes! shame on them for moving city - something people do infrequently - because there's no work available in the place they're moving from.

Wha? No, I feel sorry for the dogs because their owners don't make the slightest attempts to learn anything about dog behavior and then gripe about it when it comes back to bite them. If they think yelling "No!" in a scary way at their dog or forcing it to wear booties because "it's the only solution" are good ideas they get what they deserve.

Our 1700 mile move with our dog in a small packed car was just fine - he was a little anxious at times but we corrected his issues.

it's a blog entry. get over it. in other news, the future is a dog owner "correcting their animal's issues" over and over again, forever.

what on earth did they do wrong? do you actually have a dog? do you understand that they have no concept of reason or logic and if they are confused and stressed they will pretty much do exactly what they like. what are your genius ideas for getting an upset dog to shut up or getting two wildly exitable dogs to stop running round scratching the floor?
