Why The Snares Forum Was Removed

Got an email today from Snares himself asking for this forum to be removed as he does not want to be associtated with WATMM.

Thoughts? I don't think Mr. Funk has any legal right to request a forum discussing his music be removed, but I will honour his request, unless he changes his position (I have not gotten a reply as of this post) on the matter come Monday morning.

Is there any reason he doesn't want to be associated with WATMM?

i was under the impression that the purpose of this forum was to discuss his music. i fail to see how a forum having a subforum for the discussion of an artist means the artists is "associated" with the forum.

in response you should probably just go ahead and add this sub-forum to the listings on watmm.com (since all the other featured artists are listed there...ok except for clark..you should add him there too.)

and people here aren't exactly very nice (in general) are they. except for gushing about/over Aphex Twin and Autechre.

Deleting a forum full of lame posts doesn't really address the underlying problem of making music that attracts lame fans, does it?
