kcinsu
No questions... It's two touch tablets running a full OS... Imagine running your arrange window on one screen, and your mixer window on the other. If only live supported dual screens.... If only live supported dual screens.... are they resistive or capacitor touch? cant you spread the desktop across two screens then go full screen with live? i did this with dual monitors on sonar way back remember what i've said about the nord modular editor dude? Joyrex
From what Engadget said about their hands-on experience with it, it still has a ways to go. Personally, I don' think touchscreen computers do well with traditional mouse-based UIs, and work better with their own OS. My father has a very new Windows 7 touch screen notebook and its a pain in the ass to use the touch functionality as everything is too small to touch and its a pain to hold your hand in the air to use it Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide o00o's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/61696-new-dual-touch-screen-laptop/#findComment-1463766 Share on other sites
digit
for your average user, this laptop probably wouldn't be much of a draw. too difficult to use. ...but for an artist (live audio, vj, even someone doing fx/3d modelling or photoshop) this thing is a dream come true. have your display on the top screen and have the full bottom panel as a 14 inch touchscreen. or if you're controlling external hardware just rotate it sideways and use both screens as your control surface. really a huge leap forward in using the laptop a live performance tool. i'd buy one of these things immediately. i always thought apple would've been the one to release something like this first. i'm sure they'll have something like this within 2-3 years.
