This is very sad news, I was really looking forward to his future projects. 55 is so awfully young too. At least it was a peaceful way to go.

absolutely horrible news. the man helped change the way i listen to music. rip. a true original.

I cant believe he is dead. he brought so much inspiration to us and many more. hope you get to meet jhoon in the other life.

Electronic music may have been radically different if not for TG, Coil and related. Will be missed indeed.

'loves secret domain' and 'black antlers' are probably my favorite coil albums. 'the new backwards' is a must too. his threshold houseboys choir project is amazing.

i hate to speculate on this but the timing seems coincidental after 2 big artists did album titles that are basically Coil tributes, did they know something we didn't about Sleazy's condition? Dying at 55 is awfully young

I assume you mean Jack Dangers, which is the other artist?

The other one is Trent Reznor.

I've not kept that up-to-date with Sleazy's various projects in recent years, Coil do still hold a special something for me. They're one of those slow-burning bands where I probably only buy one of their releases a year but i always really enjoy it. And I know that if I buy more than that it'd be overload so I've got a situation where even tho i've probably got 12 or 13 albums there's still loads to keep me going for years.

He'll be missed for sure.
