what strikes me most is that the drums and bassline sound a little plain and preset-like. i would work more on mixing for sure. i like the high pitched percussive noises a lot. the intro sets a nice tone but i feel like you should take it further.

no presets though, nearly everything i do is analog kit audio-sampled, edited & sequenced and run through vst fx.

try to avoid softsynths, don't really like them. horses for courses though.

this stuff is mainly 909, moog voyager, ms2000, and a bunch of other random crap, including samples of new order and grandmaster flash.
