Short answer: No, not really.

Long answer: Sound can certainly be tailored to evoke an image or visual atmosphere but in general the techniques and results are really different from drawing.

edit: i should add that being able to express yourself in one medium does not mean you'll be able to do it in another (or want to), so um, to answer your original question, not really.

I just didn't want anyone to get confused as to what you meant.

it's a higher dimension than us. we can't see the object; we can only see the shadow it casts from various angles. change the angle. see how the shadow changes. try drawing and see how it effects your music. then go back to music and see how it effects your drawing. different angles lead to new insight and deeper understanding of the nature of the object

they both share some theory you need to know to be able to create the basic setting (harmonics and geometrics)

They are both skills that have to be practiced and learned.
