the samples feel uncomfortably separated from your composed part, and this is another case of the waveform giving too much away, but it's still purty good

No see, firstly, you DON'T KNOW if it's my place or not. Not that I'm saying it is or not.

Secondly, that being the case, I try to not be an opinionated pencildick telling people that "samples are uncomfortably separated", which you know doesn't mean anything at all - it's just you putting something down with a vapid comment as a feeble means to derive whatever little sense of superiority you can muster, which conforms to your general posting habits.

In regards to the OP... first one wasn't quite up my street, second one I really got into, enter.

Now, see this comment above^, tht tne? It is, if a bit brief and not particularly stimulating, thankfully devoid of cuntbag statements such as "the waveform is giving too much away". Really? Seriously, you said that, as a comment vis-a-vis the music? OK, you know what, enter? You should insert dc offset into your .wavs from now on, as to keep bitter depleted artfags on their toes and still able to enjoy something about the music, if not the music itself, but the way in which the waveform toys with your perception of the music. deep shit man. interior semiotics deep. think about it.

Thought "There" was very good, I do have quite a preference for subtle atmospheric ambient drone

and this fits into that pretty well, I like your considered sample use with the distance chatter in the background,

I think your overall mix is well handled, didn't find anything jarring or stuff that didn't feel like it belonged in the mix.

It creates a pretty lush wee landscape. So decent work.

I enjoyed these as well. First one more than the second. I agree that the second one may be missing something. As to what it is, I couldn't tell you.
