Strangest movies that take place at Christmas

Recommended Posts

I've noticed over the years how many non holiday films take place during the holidays.

Silent Night Deadly Night

Brazil

Black Christmas

Die Hard 1&2

P2

Eyes Wide Shut

Tales From the Crypt

Strange Days

Positive Metal Attitude

when you take a good hard look at it, it's a wonderful life is a massively fucking weird movie.

this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield

I tend to always watch Home Alone 2 & It's a Wonderful Life at some point. They used to put Laurel & Hardy and Norman Wisdom on in the mornings around Christmas. Perfect hangover watching.

brazil is amazing and everyone should watch it. ps: it has nothing to do with brazil.

i watched brazil for the first time a few months ago... i was under the influence though so the experience was wasted. first half of the movie i had no idea what was going on other than men dropping through people's ceilings and robert de niro!? second half i fell asleep.

moral of the story: don't watch brazil high the first time.

Tokyo Godfathers. it's not really that strange, but it's nice.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

love this movie. the reindeer eat magical hay.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

oh hey I remeber watching that in the cinema as a kid, I haven't seen it since.
