I like hip hop, it just doesn't work for me in this context

I've heard it. A couple cool instrumental tracks, but all the rapping is pretty boring.

this album is very good. imo

After two listens: the rapping is passable, the production is decent, and the beats are creative. It's something to pass the the time until the new DJ Shadow (which apparently is going to have lots of guest spots).

He mentioned that the album is supposed to be pretty diverse, so if you don't like '3 freaks' (I don't think anyone does) there will still be other things in the vein of Endtroducing to tide you over.

I'm hoping this is a ploy to lower expectations for the new album; but if it's not, :sick: .

I enjoyed 2/3, some real focused tracks, I think that's the right word to use.
