SHIT TO DO IN SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA

Recommended Posts

after fourteen hours of total disassociation from space/time/reality in an airplane, i landed in incheon, south korea with my girlfriend. after eating last night, we went to her parents' place and passed the fuck out. this morning, we worked out and will visit her grandmother. all that shit is so played out though. PLAYED. OUT.

for any seoul alumni/visitors, do you have any suggestions on what to do in s. korea? my girlfriend and her family have some suggestions but i'm curious what any watmmites might suggest for me. I do have some record shops (trak of bloo, purple record, hyang records, etc) i want to stop by, but otherwise i'm totally lost. kimchi museum? dmz? lol help a brother out plz.

btw if you tell me something silly to do in korea, i will try and take a picture of myself doing it, and upload it for ur pleasure. anyway, bakc to the future

this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield

escape to the winner's side while there's still time

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

i'm just heading out the door, but http://discoveringkorea.com/ is a nice site for nice things to do, and NYT did a pretty good run-down of things to do to get the feel for the city.

just go drink tons of coffee during the day, get fat on grilled pork and sloshed on soju at night.

what kinds of things do you like to do?

prepare to be disappointed by the record shops. Purple is the best of the lot though.

Don't fuck with korean cops, they will throw your ass in jail.

go get hammered on soju and stagger around Itaewon.

ah that NYT article requires membership. i'll check out discoveringkorea.com though, but my gf and her family are well-versed enough to find some good spots. normally i really just like watching movies and smoking weed—this is actually the first trip i've ever had, the first airplane i'd ever flown on, etc, so everything's new to me...definitely relying on the gf for guidance. i think hello kitty cafe was brought up though, so maybe i should start providing some suggestions lol.

i heard that a lot of the record shops tend to be overpriced and filled with boring imports i could find in america anyway, but my gf has done some korean-language digging on hotspots, so we'll see. and why would i fuck with korean cops? lol

i've downed a bottle of soju at a korean joint in philly before, and i didn't feel inebriated in the slightest, just gross and full of liquor. i'm definitely a beer guy, and that should keep me well sloshed.
