A work in progress

Hello,

here's an unfinished song... I don't really know what to do with it... maybe I'll leave it as it is... but I reckon it needs some work, what do you guys think?

It's sorta meant to be a filler between two other tracks but I could add more to the end of it to make it hold it's own better. Again, any comments would be greatly appreciated.

it would be even more mellow if you brought down the velocity of the higher synth hits a bit maybe? i could hear this being a really really quiet but melodic piece, with the sounds even more subtle and on the edge of consciousness than this. a huge stereo widen on everything would make it really orby.

yeah now that i hear the cool sound effects you bring in for atmosphere, it would be cool if they could take center stage with the other instruments more in teh background.

just things i'm hearing, though. do whatever you feel is right for the track and i hope my perspective was helpful. XD

also, with teh length you have it now it has, to me at least, teh feel of the interludes on Loveless that are just the perfect length to let you start to get lulled and then jar you with a new track that comes in ... that gives that album such an exhausting but emotional vibe for me ... i think i'm just blathering at this point sorry ...

thanks... I am defenitely purposely going for a quiet melodic thing... I completely agree that making it really subtle would be perfect for it.

at first i was upset because the link made me download the MP3 as opposed to just playing it in my browser. i said to myself "this sucks 'cause now i'll have to delete it after."

but i don't have to delete it after, 'cause it's fantastically good. with the one exception being the abrupt ending. that was a sad moment.

it's very lush, full, and exceptionally well balanced in terms of sonic space - as in reverb, panning, eq... everything sits really well together.

Yay thanks... I love your stuff so it means alot to get a comment from you.

I myself get pissed off if I can't download and only stream, cos I'm on a modem so it'd buffer every 5 seconds :P Also, like I said, it's gonna be a transitional track, so hopefully the abrupt ending will make sense when I eventually finish this thing that's going to take me 500 years to finish cos I don't have time and I'm too fussy.

This is really beautiful. EKT has been sorely missing springymajig. This is a keeper and imo....it is done.

Thanks... for the past 2-3 years I've been trying to put together an album of sorts... but I'm a bit lazy with music these days so it's taking a while. Anyway... this track is on meant to go on it :P I'll get there eventually....
